Hi, I’m Carla, a yoga teacher, movement guide, and lifelong mover.

My relationship with movement began through dance and continues to evolve through yoga, creativity, and curiosity. Today, I teach classes that invite you to build strength, breathe with intention, and reconnect with the way you feel in your body.

My classes are grounded, energizing, and human. You do not need to move perfectly. You only need to meet yourself where you are.

I created Carla in Motion  because I know how powerful it is to carve out time to move, slow down, and listen to what your body needs. Here, you’ll find classes and flows designed to challenge you, ground you, and remind you that movement is for everyone.

From my early days as a dancer to now as a certified yoga teacher, movement has always been a part of my story. I’ve seen how yoga and mindful movement can empower you to feel more confident, free, and connected to yourself.

Questions you may have

What is Carla in Motion?

Carla in Motion is a movement space where I guide you through Power Yoga, somatic practices, gentle flows, meditation, breathwork, and Yoga Flush. Everything is designed to help you feel more connected, present, strong, and at home in your body.

The In Motion online community is a digital library of movement practices you can access from anywhere. You will find classes ranging from five-minute resets to longer 75-minute practices, including Power Yoga, slow flows, somatic movement, meditation, breathwork, and Yoga Flush.

No. You can begin wherever you are. Classes include options for different levels, and I encourage you to move with curiosity rather than pressure to perform perfectly.

Somatic movement is a way of moving that brings your attention inward. Instead of focusing only on how a movement looks, we explore how it feels in your body, helping you develop awareness, choice, and a deeper connection with yourself.

Yoga Flush is my movement practice that blends yoga, dance, rhythm, and expressive movement. It is playful, energizing, and still evolving as a practice.

I teach weekly Power Yoga classes and other movement experiences in Miami. You can check the current schedule and book directly through the studio hosting each class.

I offer resources, workshops, mentorship, and educational experiences for yoga teachers who want to deepen the way they teach, sequence, and connect with their students.

Bring comfortable clothes, water, and a yoga mat if the class requires one. Most importantly, bring curiosity and permission to adapt the practice to your own body.
